European Election 2009
Green Party South West ran a campaign to elect at least one Green MEP for the South West in the European election held on 4 June 2009. There were six seats to fill, and we provided a full slate of six candidates.
In the event, the Green Party polled ahead of Labour in the South West and only narrowly missed out on gaining a seat; see the report of the election results for more details.
