North Somerset Green Party

The North Somerset Green Party is having a busy 2009, supporting Congresbury Green Party councillor Tom Leimdorfer and looking ahead to the Council elections in 2011. Nearly 10% of voters voted Green in the European election in North Somerset - well over 5,000 people.

Locally, we also campaign to keep services local and to ensure that vulnerable groups have the support they need.

We welcome people from across the district, though most of us live in three wards: Congresbury, Blagdon & Churchill and Banwell & Winscombe. We are also seeing rising interest in Weston-super-Mare.
