Vote Green
So if you are thinking of voting Green, what do you get?
We believe in Europe — but not a European Superstate. We want a Europe where decisions are made by elected parliamentarians and not behind closed doors. We want transparency and accountability. A Europe that is culturally, ethnically and economically diverse, where rights are protected for one and all, and where discrimination, poverty and inequality are consigned to history. A social Europe that protects workers, public services and minorities.

- Oppose live animal exports and cosmetic testing
- Resist economic globalisation and privatisation
- Support nationalisation of the railways
- Revive UK manufacturing for a balanced economy
- Technology transfer to assist poorer countries to develop sustainably
- Abolish the Common Agricultural policy and Common Fisheries policy
- Freeze pensioners' council tax at the rate of inflation
- Restore the link between pensions and average earnings or inflation, whichever is the higher
