Judy Maciejowska

Judy says
I was brought up on St Agnes, on the Isles of Scilly and went to school in Truro. I've returned to my roots in the South West from London, and have settled in the Tamar Valley where we have been renovating a mediaeval farmhouse and building up an organic smallholding.

I joined the Green Party 30 years ago because of its distinctive policies, not simply on environment issues, but also on peace, the economy and our communities.

I believe that local communities are the bedrock of all healthy societies, and I would like to see more EU powers and resources devolved to our communities, where local people can have a genuine influence on the things that make a difference in their lives.
