Local Elections 2016

5th May 2016 saw elections in eight local authority areas. In addition there was a Mayoral Election in Bristol and Police and Crime Commissioner (PCC) Elections across the region on the same day.

The Councils with elections and Green candidates were:

Bristol City - all 70 seats up for election for a 4 year term
Cheltenham District - half of the 40 seats
Exeter City (District) - all 39 seats on new boundaries
Gloucester City (District) - one third of 36 seats
Plymouth Unitary - one third of 57 seats
Stroud District - all 54 seats up for election for a 4 year term
Swindon Unitary - one third of 57 seats
Weymouth & Portland Borough - one third of 36 seats
