The sad news of the death this week of Bristol Green Party member Guy Forster

Guy Forster

This month brought us the sad news of the death of Guy Forster. Guy had been a longstanding member of the Green Party, serving both on the South West Green Party Committee and as Bristol Green Party’s principal graphic designer.

He was responsible for the literature campaign that helped elect Molly Scott Cato to the European Parliament in 2014, as well as most of the leaflets and newsletters that helped Bristol Green Party gain fourteen councillors and nearly win the constituency of Bristol West.

He will be remembered for his fierce commitment to sustainability and animal welfare, his wry sense of humour, and as a kind-hearted friend to many of us. Guy is survived by his beloved dog Jessie, who is now being cared for by his mother. He will be deeply missed, and our thoughts are with his family.
